Reset Password
Use the Reset Password page to
set up a new password for Ceridian
Self-Service when:
- you
can't remember your current password
- your
user account is locked because you've either attempted more than the maximum
attempts allowed to change your password or to answer your challenge questions.

This page isn't available if
any of the following conditions apply:
- Your
company hasn't enabled the Challenge Questions and Answers option for
its employees.
- Your
company has enabled the Challenge Questions and Answers option, but you
haven't set up your challenge questions and answers on the Manage Challenge
Questions and Answers page.
- Your
company Uses
but doesn't allow you direct access to Self-Service.
- For the
current release, Single Sign-On is available to select Ceridian
customers in limited availability.
Self-Service password requirements

When you enter a new password, the password:
- must
be a minimum of 8 characters and a maximum of 20 characters
- must
contain at least one digit (0 - 9)
- must
contain at least one uppercase alphabetic character and one lowercase
alphabetic character
- can
contain the following special characters - exclamation marks, at signs,
number signs, dollar signs, percentage signs, ampersands, asterisks, periods,
hyphens and underscores (!@#$%&*.-_)
- can’t
contain your first name, last name, or user ID

To change
your password when you forget your password or your account is locked

- Open
the Reset Password page.
- On the Login page,
enter your user name and click Forgot
Your Password?.
If you have set up your challenge questions
and answers, the Challenge Question and Answer page appears with three
of the five challenge questions you previously selected.
- Enter your answers
to your challenge questions.
- Click Submit.
If you answer the questions:
- incorrectly,
you can continue to attempt to answer the challenge questions up to the
maximum number of times determined by your company. The page will refresh
each time with three more questions, not including the one you answered
incorrectly on the previous attempt. After the last successful attempt,
your account is locked and you are logged out. Before you can continue,
your system administrator must unlock your account.
- correctly, the
Reset Password page appears.
- Enter
your current password.
- Enter
your new password.
- Enter
your new password again for verification.
- Enter
a phrase or word to remind you of the password in case you forget it.
- Click
Save.
- On
the Confirmation page that appears, click OK,
and you return to the Log in page.
